Our English courses are offered to accommodates all levels of English The goal is to encourage our students to move away from translation and to acquire a fluid manner of speaking and understanding of English
Program:
At Edutech, we offer 8 levels of English to students of ALL ages. The emphasis of the first 6 levels is conversational English The final two, more advanced levels, focus much more on the written and grammatical aspects of English all the while maintaining an emphasis on conversation.
Class Structure:
Edutech has set itself apart form other English schools because of our resolution to keep our classes small and intimate. Rarely do we permit our classes to exceed 8 students.
Smaller classes allows our teachers to better tailor lessons to the individual needs of our students. It also permits our students to get the necessary attention to improve areas in which they may require additional help.
Class Duration:
The course is offered twice a week, usually in the evenings for 9 weeks, approximately 2 months. The duration of each session is 2 hours. Students spend one and a half hours of every session with our teachers and the remaining half hour working in the ELLIS Lab.
Materials:
Edutech offers our students the best English materials available today. We combine traditional style teaching methods with cutting edge technological programs.
In order to provide the most complete English course, we combination in-class teacher guided textbook lessons, activities and exercises with highly interactive audio visual and computer software programs. TRUE COLORS text and exercise book will guide students in class as well as provide exercises to be completed on their own time. We also encouraged our students to make use of the ELLIS Lab outside of class hours to further their language skills.
Student English Level Assessment:
Each student will be assessed, free of charge, prior to enrollment. The purpose of the assessment is to properly match a student to the level most suited to their needs and ability.
